QRIMNANCE


WHEREAS, The aldermanic expense account is annually appropriated to allow members ofthe City Council the ability to communicate with their respective constituents and provide access to services and resources in each of the city's fifty wards; and,

WHEREAS, Recent events have highlighted the need for aldermanic offices to evolve in ways that allow maximum public opportunities for engagement, service delivery, and governmental responsiveness to constituent needs; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:


SECTION 1. Section 2-8-050 ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by deleting the language struck through and by adding the language underscored, as follows:
2-8-050 Aldermanic expense allowance.
