ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Because an in-person meeting is not practical or prudent due to COVID-19, the next regular meeting ofthe City Council, iri accordance with applicable law, Shall be conducted by videoconference, on Monday, November 23, 2020, beginning at 2:00 P.M., and shall provide for remote participation and remote viewing by members ofthe public. If prior to then, the Commissioner of Health issues a written determination that the City Council can safely proceed with an in-person meeting, the meeting will be held at a location to be determined that can safely accommodate a City Council meeting. Any such written determination will be posted on the City Clerk's website, along with an amended meeting agenda, which will include a fixed location, by 2:00 P.M. on Thursday. November 19, 2020.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in.force from and after Its passage.
