ORDINANCE

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the area described in Section 2 of this ordinance is adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the area.

 

SECTION 2. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by is hereby amended by deleting the language stricken and by inserting the language underlined, as follows:

 

4-60-023 Restrictions on additional package goods licenses.

 

Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional package goods license shall be issued for any premises located within the following areas:

(42.106) On the east side of LaSalle Drive, from Ohio Street to Grand Avenue; and on the north side of Illinois Street Grand Avenue, from LaSalle Drive to Clark Street

 

(42. 480) On the east side of LaSalle Drive, from Grand Avenue to Illinois Street: and on the north side of Illinois Street, from LaSalle Drive to Clark Street.

 

(42. 481) On the west side of LaSalle Drive, from Grand Avenue to Illinois Street: and on the north side of Illinois Street, from LaSalle Drive to Wells Street.
