RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Parents David Preston Varney and Katarzyna Maria Aleszczyk Varaey welcomed
their new baby son, Preston Lucas Varney, into the world on October 23rd, 2020 at 8:12pm. On
that date, Preston made his first appearance weighing nine pounds and stretching the tape to
twenty inches; and . '. '■' ... ;,v,
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this blessed event by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, The joy of arrival has spread to the family's many dear friends and loving relatives, especially to his grandparents Dan and Tina Varney, Stanislaw and Barbara Aleszczyk; and
WHEREAS, The announcement of this special birth represents the future of Chicago and the ehdless possibilities for;ourgreat City; now, merefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago, gathered here this sixteenth day of December 2020, do hereby extend our heartiest congratulations to David and Katarzyna.
