BROADWAY CLIFTON PROPERTY, LLC (DE) Acct. No. 472339 -1 Permit No. 1147569

 

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:

SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to BROADWAY CLIFTON PROPERTY, LLC (DE), upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, nineteen (19) Window Surround(s) projecting over the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 4753 N. Broadway.

Said Window Surround(s) at N. Broadway measure(s):

One (1) at twelve point zero eight (12.08) feet in length, and one point one six (1.16) foot in width for a total of fourteen point zero one (14.01) square feet.

Said Window Surround(s) at N. Braodway measure(s):

Three (3) at fifteen point four two (15.42) feet in length, and one point two five (1.25) foot in width for a total of fifty-seven point eight three (57.83) square feet.

Said Window Surround(s) at N. Broadway measure(s):

One (1) at fifteen point two five (15.25) feet in length, and point nine two (.92) feet in width for a total of fourteen point zero three (14.03) square feet.

Said Window Surround(s) at N. Broadway measure(s):

One (1) at twelve point zero eight (12.08) feet in length, and one point one six (1.16) foot in width for a total of fourteen point zero one (14.01) square feet.

Said Window Surround(s) at N. Broadway measure(s):

One (1) at twelve point zero eight (12.08) feet in length, and point eight three (.83) feet in width for a total of ten point zero three (10.03) square feet.

Two (2) at twelve point zero eight (12.08) feet in length, and point eight three (.83) feet in width for a total of twenty point zero five (20.05) square feet.

Said Window Surround(s) at N. Clifton Avenue measure(s):

Four (4) at fourteen point seven five (14.75) feet in length, and one point two five (1.25) foot in width for a total of seventy-three point seven five (73.75) square feet.

Said Window Surround(s) at W. Lawrence Avenue measure(s):

Five (5) at fourteen point seven five (14.75) feet in length, and one point zero eight (1.08) foot in width for a total of seventy-nine point six five (79.65) square feet.

Said Window Surround(s) at W. Lawrence Avenue measure(s):

One (1) at thirteen point five eight (13.58) feet in length, and one point zero eight (1.08) foot in width for a total of fourteen point six seven (14.67) square feet.

The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.

Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Planning and Development and Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development).

This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.

The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1147569 herein granted the sum of four hundred ($400.00) per annum in advance.

A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.

The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.

Authority herein given and granted for a period of five (5) years from and after Date of Passaae.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for a window surround(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Small Business Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
