RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Patrol Sergeant Kevin Oyerpack has served twenty-five (25) years as a Sergeant, and has mentored many young men and women during his tenure; and
WHEREAS, Patrol Sergeant Kevin Overpack hasjeceived many service awards over the years, and also contributed to the protection of the University of Chicago and the Hyde Park community; and
WHEREAS, Patrol Sergeant Kevin Overpack responded to a call one night wherein a student had been brutally attacked, and because of his quick response, he saved the student's life; and
WHEREAS, Patrol Sergeant Kevin Overpack is grateful for his experiences while working for the University of Chicago PoliceDepartment, where he has learned a lot and made many friends; and
WHEREAS, Patrol Sergeant Kevin Overpack received the Officer of the Year award in 1990, the most inspiring moment of his career; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the-City of Chicago, assembled this 24th day of March, 2021, do hereby honor the community service of Thirty-Three (33) Years by PATROL SERGEANT KEVIN OVERPACK from the University of Chicago Police Department,.and extend our congratulations on his Retirement, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that suitable copies of this.resolution, be presented to Patrol Sergeant Kevin Overpack as a sign of pur good wishes.
