ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1.        Because an in-person meeting is not practical or prudent due to COVID-19, the next regular meeting ofthe City Council, in accordance .with applicable iaw, shall, be conducted by videoconference on Wednesday, April 21,2021, beginning at 10:00 AM., and shall provide for remote participation and remoteviewing by members of the public. If prior.to then, the Commissioner of Health issues a written determination that the City Council can safely proceed with an In-person meeting, the meeting will be held at a location to be determined that can safely accommodate a City Council meeting: Any such written determination will be posted oh the City Clerk's website, along with an amended meeting agenda, which will include a fixed location, by 10:00 A; fJl. on Monday, April 19, 2021.

SECTION 2.        This ordinance shall take effect and be jn force from and after its

passage,.
