RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING KATHY OSTROWSKI ON HER RETIREMENT FROM ST. DANIEL THE PROPHET SCHOOL
WHEREAS, Mrs. Kathy Ostrowski retired from 24 years of outstanding service to the children and the families of St. Daniel the Prophet School.
WHEREAS, Mrs. Ostrowski started as a school parent of St. Daniel the Prophet and in 1996 she began working in the school lunchroom as an employee of Food Service Professional, FSP, in 1996.
WHEREAS, Mrs. Ostrowski held the position of St. Daniel the Prophet School Secretary. With her wide variety of evolving responsibilities and reporting to five principals over her career, Mrs. Ostrowski has been the glue that holds the school together during many transitions.
WHEREAS, Mrs. Ostrowski was awarded the Heart of Service Award presented by the Archdiocese of Chicago for St. Daniel the Prophet School in 2019. This award recognizes those employees of Catholic schools who go above and beyond in their service and dedication to the students and staff of the school.
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago, gather here this twenty-first day of July, 2021 do hereby congratulate Mrs. Ostrowski on her retirement following twenty four years of outstanding service to St. Daniel the Prophet School; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Mrs. Ostrowski.
