ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. Chapter 4-4 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting a new Section 4-4-025, as follows:
4-4-025 License fee payments - Installment plan.

Unless otherwise provided for in this Code, any person issued a license whose term expires at the end of two years and whose total license fee payments to the city for one or more licenses exceeds $1,000.00 per year may make such payments in installments, with the first installment equal to one-half of the two-year license fee, and the second installment equal to one-half of the two-year license fee to be paid within one calendar year of the payment of the first installment. The default of any installment under such installment plan shall be grounds for revocation of the applicable license or licenses.
