ORDINANCE JOURNAL CORRECTION
Whereas, On June 24, 2021, the Committee on Zoning, Landmarks and Building Standards of the City Council met to consider an ordinance changing Bl-3 Neighborhood Shopping District to B2-2 Neighborhood Mixed Use District for the property generally located at 1810-1820 N Wells St; and
Whereas, At the committee meeting on May 25, 2021, a substitute ordinance was offered and accepted by the committee in lieu of the original ordinance, and the committee considered and recommended passage June 22, 2021 (SO2020-5757); and
Whereas, Because of an administrative error, the document that was reported out of the committee to the City Council during the City Council meeting on June 25, 2021, then transmitted to the City Clerk and published in the Journal of Proceedings of the City Council of the City of Chicago for the regular meeting held on Friday, June 25, 2021 on page 32214, was not the final and complete ordinance; and
Whereas, The ordinance transmitted to the City Clerk was the original ordinance, not the final version that was notices, and published prior to the hearing; and
Whereas, It is necessary to correct this error striking the ordinance printed in the June 25, 2021 Journal of Proceedings and replace it with this ordinance which supersedes 02020-5757, because it is accurate and complete; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect following due passage and approval, and shall be deemed to apply retroactively to the effective date of O2020-5757. Section 2. 02020-5757 is hereby repealed and replaced in its entirety with the following:
