Be ft Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:

 

SECTION 1. Permission arid authority are hereby given and granted to HUMBOLDT PARK MONTESSORI upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to construct, Install, maintain and use one, (1) Fence's) on the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 3000 W CHICAGO AVE.

Said Fence(s) at W Chicago Ave. rrteasure(s):

One (i)at four hundred sixty (460) feet in length and one (1) feet in width for a total of four hundred sixty (460) square feet.

 

The location of said privilege shall be as shown oh prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.

 

Said privilege; shall be constructed iri5accordance with plans and specifications approved by ttie Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development).

This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.

The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #BACP1585906 herein granted the sum of four hundred ($400.00) per annum in advance.

A25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.

The permit holder agrees tbhold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.

Authority herein given and granted for a period of five (5) years from and after 05/04/2021.

Nature Playground Proposed Safety Fence Placement

Installation of safety fencing on the green space located at 3000 W Chicago. Fencing will start ,at the northeast corner of the green space and run south along the sidewalk to the southeast corner, then west along the sidewalk 57 feet, then north through the! middle of the green space 95 feet, then diagonally northwest at a 45 degree angle for 40 feet, then north 38 feet, and then salong the sidewalk parallel to Grand Ave to end at the northeast corner of the green space. At no point will the fencing block the sidewalk or road. These measurements are In agreement " with the fencing plant approved by People's Gas and The CDOT Division of Project Management.

The safety fencing is a temporary measure while we complete permitting procedures with Neighborspace and BACP in the development of this nature playground. The fence will be no higher than 4 feet. Stakes will be placed along the fence every 6-8 feet and Into the ground 4-6 inches. ~
