Be It Ordained by the City Council ofthe City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to IGLESIA MISION DEL VALLE, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, one (1) Awning(s) projecting over the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 4325 W. Armitage Ave
Said Awning(s) at W. Lowell measure(s):
One (1) at ten point four two (10.42) feet in length, and three point seven five (3.75) feet in width for a total of thirty-nine point zero eight (39.08) square feet.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Zoning Department -Signs.
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1141899 herein granted the sum of fifty ($50.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.
Authority herein given and granted for a period of five (5) years from and after 08/03/2019.

SUBJECT: Notice of BACP Public Way Use Accounts and Applications Moving Online
Please be advised that in April 2021, the City of Chicago's Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) will migrate all Public Way Use accounts to a new database and will move the permit application process to a new online web portal. BACP's new database and portal will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Public Way Use permitting, including allowing permittees to pay fees (annual and outstanding debt), renew existing permits and apply for new permits online. Permittees will need to create and log into their online portal account and pay fees online. Failure to pay permit fees or outstanding debt in a timely manner may result in penalties, including holds placed on the permittee's business license(s). Hardcopy invoices for annual permit fees will no longer be mailed; all future invoices will instead be emailed and communicated through this new portal.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A RENEWAL NOTICE, NOR AN INVOICE. This is merely notice of the new online web portal that will need to be utilized for future applications, renewals, and payments.
