RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, We the members of the Chicago City Council, wish to extend our congratulations and birthday wishes to John A. Cummings on his 80th birthday celebration; and,
WHEREAS, on behalf of the entire 23rd Ward, Alderman Silvana Tabares would like to extend a personal tribute to John A. Cummings on this joyous occasion as recognition for being a remarkable resident of the City of Chicago and a Clearing resident for over fifty five years, and,
WHEREAS, John A. Cummings is a loving husband to Anita M. Cummings for over fifty four years. Together they have four successful children, Tamara, Stephen, Kimberly, David and five amazing grandchildren, Ryan. Jillian, Nicholas, Jaclyn and Leah, and,
WHEREAS, John A. Cummings served and protected Chicago by dedicating thirty two years of service as a Chicago Police Officer, Organized Crime/Narcotics and spent fourteen years with the State Attorney's Office, Narcotics Strike Force, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and members ofthe Chicago City Council, gather here this twenty sixth of January, 2022, do hereby congratulate John A. Cummings on the occasion of his birthday; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we extend our most heartfelt wishes to John A. Cummings for his continued health, happiness and success following his 80th birthday; and
