ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. Section 4-4-050 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the language underscored and by deleting the language struck through, as follows:

4-4-050 License - Application.

Any othor information that tho commioGionor may reasonably roquiro in connoction with iGOuanco or ronowal of a license.

(i) If the applicant is a MBE/WBE/BEPD or Veteran-owned business enterprise for purposes of this Section, the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection shall use the following terms as defined by the Department of Procurement in the various Sections of Chapter 2-92 of the Municipal Code: and.
"Minority group" as defined in Section 2-92-420(r) and "Minoritv-owned business" or "M.B.E" as defined in Section 2-92-420(s):
"Women-owned business" or "WiB.E." as defined in Section
2-92-420(y):
"Business enterprise owned or operated bv people with Disabilities" or "B.E.P.D" as defined in Section 2-92-586: and.
"Veteran" and "Veteran-owned business enterprise" as defined
in Section 2-92-920.

ui) Notwithstanding this requirement, any applicant may decline to provide the information described in Section 4-4-050(aW8) without penalty to their license application or renewal; and.

(9) Any other information that the commissioner may reasonably require in connection with the issuance or renewal of a license.
