ORDINANCE
JOURNAL CORRECTION FOR DECEMBER 15, 2021 CITY COUNCIL MEETING
WHEREAS, On December 15, 2021, the City Council of the City of Chicago passed substitute ordinance SO2021-4644, which amends Title 6 ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago by modifying various sections and adding new Sections 6-100-010 and 6-100-030 regarding worker protections; and
WHEREAS, It was later discovered that due to a scrivener's error, an incorrect citation to the Municipal Code contained within the substitute ordinance was printed in the Journal ofthe Proceedings of the City Council ofthe City of Chicago, Illinois of December 15, 2021 ("Journal of Proceedings") and appears on page 42671; and
WHEREAS, It is necessary and advisable to correct said error; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The December 15, 2021 Journal of Proceedings is hereby corrected by deleting Municipal Code citation "6-120-120" appearing on the third line from the top of page 42671 and inserting "6-120-020" in lieu thereof.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect following due passage and approval, and shall be deemed to apply retroactively to the effective date of January 1, 2022.
