RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Stanley A. Gorniak Jr. has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 78 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Loving father of Lynn (CJ) and Lori (Keith); cherished grandpa of Aaron, Alec, Cory, Alyse, Andrew and Angelina; devoted son of the late Stanley and Carmella; dear brother of Saverio (Winifred) and the late Joseph; fond uncle of Jill, Sammy and Shelby; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Stanley to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-third of February 2022, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Stanley A. Gorniak Jr. and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Stanley A. Gorniak Jr.
