RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Margaret L. Thomaston has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 82 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Devoted and loving wife of many years to the late Jack D. Thomaston. Loving mother of James (Kelly), Christina (William Patterson, Jr.), and Jack Jr. (Linda). Cherished grandmother to Brett (Brittany), Miranda, William III (fiance Katie Midlock), Ailish (fiance Greg Gault), Nicholas and Jaclyn. Dearest great-grandmother of Shepard and Cooper Thomaston; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Margaret to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-third of February 2022, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Margaret L. Thomaston and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Margaret L Thomaston.
