BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

SECTION 1. Section 17-6-0403-F of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language, as follows:

Thank you for taking the time to meet with me regarding the proposed use of your parking lot property at 1944-1950 N. Narragansett Ave. As we discussed, your proposed use of the property to lease space for storage of commercial and personal vehicles, including, but not limited to. cars, trucks, campers, and fleet vehicles, is pennitted under the current PM-15 Zoning ofthe site as "Vehicle Storage and Towing."

 

Furthermore, the proposed use of the parking lot complements the current "Residential Storage Warehouse" use in the structure at the site and fills a vital need for the residents of the 29th Ward and the City of Chicago.
