MEMORIAL RESOLUTION CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF MONICA I. HARTY
WHEREAS, Monica I. Harty, beloved wife, devoted mother, and proud grandmother, passed away on June 6, 2022; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of Monica's passing by the Honorable Samantha Nugent, Alderman ofthe 39th Ward, and the Honorable Matthew J. O'Shea, Alderman of the 19th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Monica Harty, nee Manfredi, was born on November 2,1948, and departs this world after 73 years of life; and
WHEREAS, Monica is preceded in death by her parents, Arturo and Irene Manfredi, and her sister, Maria Jo; and
WHEREAS, Monica leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved husband, Terrence; her children, Ryan (Erin), Brian, and Taryn (Anthony); her grandchildren, Ryder, Nolan, Chase, Teagan, and Sandro; her brother, Mario (Elena); and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and
WHEREAS, Monica will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this twenty-second day of June, 2022, do hereby extend our most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Monica I. Harty; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Monica I. Harty as a sign of our honor and respect.
