ORDER
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO, That the Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Public Health shall take all necessary actions to cause the Department of Public Health to apply for or otherwise seek grants and any other source of available State or federal funding for establishing a non-police mental health crisis response program within the Department of Public Health in accordance with the Community Emergency Services and Supports Act. The Commissioner of Public Health shall report to the Committee on Health and Human Relations every 60 days on the status of such obligation until State and federal funding is received or other funds are appropriated for such purpose.
