ORDINANCE

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

SECTION 1. Title 17 ofthe Municipal Code of the City of Chicago, the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by designating as a Pedestrian Street with the appropriate symbols and indications for the; segments of West Madison Street Right-of-Way found on Maps No. 1-G and 2-G in the area bounded by:

the centerline of North/South Throop Street on the west and the centerline of North/South Halsted Street on the east along West Madison Street,

 

as a Pedestrian Street.

 

SECTION 2. Section 17-4-0500 of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language, as follows:

17-4-0500 Pedestrian Streets.
