Whereas the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce was established on November 20,1947, to support the local business community and improve neighborhood services. The Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce is celebrating 75 years of service to the Lincoln Park community.
Whereas the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce supported and connected the business community through events including Business After Hours, Coffee Connections, New Member Orientations, educational seminars, Best of Lincoln Park Awards, Sharing Success and more.
Whereas the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce promoted the neighborhood and its members through publications including the Discover Lincoln Park Guide, the Lincoln Park Get Around Guide and the Lincoln Park Weekend Guide and marketed Lincoln Park's attractions to visitors and guests through tourism initiatives and concierge events.
Whereas the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce established and now manages two Special Service Areas on Clark Street and Lincoln Avenue, to beautify, market and improve the commercial districts through seasonal plantings, litter abatement, sidewalk snow removal, district marketing and events, facade rebate programs and more.
Whereas the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce strengthened the community with programs and events including Oz Park Festival, Summer Safety Fest, Lincoln Park Arts & Music Fest, Pizza Fest and Spooktacular.
Whereas the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce engaged the public and brought new customers to local businesses through events including Savor Lincoln Park, the Lincoln Park Home Show, Cravings on Clark, Lincoln Park Uncorked Wine Strolls, Armitage and Halsted Sidewalk Sales, Health and Wellness Weekends and more.
Whereas the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce contributed to neighborhood branding and placemaking with Lincoln Park wayfinding signs, recycling cans, bike racks and street pole identifiers.
