Your Committee on Transportation and Public Way begs leave to report and recommend that Your Honorable Body pass the proposed ordinance transmitted herewith for a MISC: HONORARY STREET NAME to "HONORARY RICHARD TECHMAN WAY" -(SUBSTITUTE) - SO2022-3643 An ordinance authorizing and directing the Commissioner of Transportation to take the actions necessary to honorarily designate South Mobile Avenue from 53rd Street to 54th Street as, "Honorary Richard Techman Way". This ordinance was referred to Committee on November 04, 2022.
This recommendation was concurred unanimously by viva voce vote of the members of the Committee with no dissenting vote.

ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 2-8-040 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, which allows erection of honorary street name designations, the Commissioner of Chicago Department of Transportation shall take the necessary action for standardization of on South Mobile Avenue from 53rd to 54th Street as "Honorary Richard Techman Way"
