BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:


SECTION 1. Title 17 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by changing all ofthe B1-2 Neighborhood Shopping District symbols and indications as shown on Map Number 6-G in the area bounded by:

A line 605.5 feet south of and parallel to West 29th Street; South Halsted Street; a line 101.9 feet north ofand parallel to West 31st Street; and a line beginning at a point 47.44 feet west of South Halsted Street and 101.9 feet north of West 31st Street and continuing northwesterly to a point 361.67 feet west of South Halsted Street and 605.5 feet south of West 29th Street

to those of a B3-2 Community Shopping District, and a corresponding use district is hereby established in the area above described.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and due publication.
