SECTION 1. The Commissioner ofthe Chicago Department of Transportation, or any of her designees, is each hereby authorized and directed to approve a dedication of certain property owned by the Chicago Illinois Cottage Grove Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Inc., an Illinois not-for-profit corporation ("Developer"), for use as public way, in the block bounded by E. 93rd Street, E. 93rd Place, S. Greenwood Avenue and approximately S. Ellis Avenue, and legally described in the attached plat (Exhibit A, CDOT File: 02-08-22-4021) which, for greater certainty, is hereby made a part ofthis ordinance. Said plat reflecting the dedication ofthe following area:


THE NORTH 14.00 FEET OF LOTS 11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18 AND LOT 19, IN STAUNTON O. FLANDERS SUBDIVISION ACCORDING TO THE PLAT RECORDED MAY 1, 1961, AS DOCUMENT NUMBER #18148941, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 37 NORTH, RANGE 14, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, SAID ABOVE DESCRIBED PARCEL CONTAINING 7,384 SQUARE FEET OR 0.1695 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.

SECTION 2. The dedication for public alley herein provided for is made upon the express condition that within one hundred eighty (180) days after the passage ofthis ordinance, the Developer shall file or cause to be filed for recordation with the Office of the Cook County Clerk / Recordings Division a certified copy ofthis ordinance, together with the attached plat approved by the Department of Transportation's Superintendent of Maps and Plats.


SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication. The dedication shall take effect and be in force from and after the recording of the published ordinance and approved plat.
