We, the undersigned, hereby call a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Chicago, to be convened at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023, in the City Council Chamber in City Hall, for the following purposes and no other purpose whatsoever:
1. To consider and vote on, pursuant to a suspension of the Rules, a resolution establishing the Rules of Order and Procedure of the City Council for the 2023-2027 term (direct introduction into the City Council).
2. To consider and vote on a resolution establishing City Council Committee Chairs for the 2023-2027 term (direct introduction into the City Council).
3. To consider and vote on a series of reports from the Committee on Committees and Rules recommending re-referral to the appropriate committees of: 02023-1340 (redevelopment agreement for Congress Theater), and appointments to the Chicago Housing Authority, the Chicago Transit Board, the Commission on Chicago Landmarks, and the Advisory Council on Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
