BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1, Pursuant to Section 10-20-430 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Commissioner of Transportation is hereby authorized and directed to exempt Squark Ventures LLC from the provisions requiring barriers as a prerequisite to prohibit alley ingress and/or egress 1144 W Washington Blvd.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon its passage and publication.

Please be advised, that I have no objections to granting an exemption to Squark Ventures LLC for requiring barriers as a prerequisite to prohibit alley ingress and/or egress to loading and parking facilities. An ordinance granting such alley access will be introduced at the April 19,2023 Chicago City Council meeting.
