Good Afternoon:
Olympic Signs has been hired to secure a sign permit for one currently existing large non-illuminated wall sign at 4617 W. North Ave. in your ward. The existing sign reads "WINDY CITY METAL RECYCLING" and is for business identification purposes only. Because the size of this sign is over 100 square feet, we will need a council order before we apply for the sign permit.
We are requesting that this application be submitted to the next City Council meeting in February. I have attached a copy of the permit application, the zoning application, completed council order sheet, and drawing of the sign to facilitate matters.
We hope you will be in favor of this sign. If you are not, or have ANY questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. We have no desire to permit any sign that you do not approve of.
