BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. That the Executive Director of the Mayor's office of special events is hereby authorized and directed to issue all necessary permits free of charge, not withstanding other ordinances of the City of Chicago to the contrary,

For: 2011 Mayfest

On the premises located at 3100 N Ashland

On the date and time of: May 20 between the hours of 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., May 21 between the hours of 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and on May 22 between the hours of 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.

All appurtenances thereto shall be used exclusively for charitable purposed and shall not be leased or otherwise used with a view to profit, and the work thereon shall be done in accordance with plans submitted and all of the appropriate provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Chicago and departmental requirements of various departments of the City of Chicago, and said building(s) and all appurtenances thereto shall be constructed and maintained so that they shall comply in all respects with the requirements of the appropriate provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Chicago for the issuance of all necessary permits and licenses.

SECTION 2: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
