Your Committee on License and Consumer Protection, having under consideration an ordinance introduced by Alderman Margaret Laurino (which was referred on May 12, 2010), to amend Section 4-60-023 ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago deleting subsection 4-60-023 (39.84), begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body pass the ordinance which is transmitted herewith.
This recommendation was concurred in by a viva voce vote of the members of the committee on February 28, 2011.

ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
;*     SECTION 1. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by deleting the language struck through, as follows:
4-60-023 Restrictions on additional licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional package goods license shall be issued for any premises located within the following areas:
(39.84) On North Elston Avenue, from Berteau Avenue to West Montrose Avenue.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon passage and publication.
