Dear ALDERMAN COLON:
I am writing to inform you of legislation pending introduction for disabled parking signs that are posted within your ward.
The Department of Revenue installed the disabled parking signs approximately 881 days ago pending an ordinance passage.
As of this date the ordinance has still not passed. The municipal code requires us to remove the permit if the ordinance has not been passed within four months. In order to comply with the municipal code the Department will request that the permit be removed if the ordinance is not introduced on the next council meeting.
