Resolution Honoring James Peter Coolsen

WHEREAS, James Peter Coolsen, a long-time resident ofthe City of Chicago's 47 Ward, will be celebrating his 70^th Birthday on April 24, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Peter's friends and family will be gathering on April 23, 2011; and,

WHEREAS, Peter serves the people of Chicago and Cook County as the Court Administrator for the Circuit Court of Cook County; and,

WHEREAS, since, receiving a Master's degree in Social Work for New York University, he has dedicated his life to improving nonprofit and governmental organizations and has consulted with nonprofit organization in over twenty-five states, Canada, and Southeast Asia; and,

WHEREAS, Peter currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Salvation Family Services of Chicago,

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this 13^th day of April, 2011 A.D. do hereby congratulate James Peter Coolsen on the occasion of his 70^th birthday and thank him for his years of dedication to the people of Chicago.
