Mr. Brendan Reilly Alderman 42nd Ward 311 West Superior, Suite 212 Chicago, IL 60610
Dear Alderman Reilly:
This is a special request for your consideration to waive the Itinerant Merchant and Food & Liquor License fees for the 9th Annual Chicago Turkish Festival which will be held at the Daley Plaza from Sunday, May 22, 2011 through Wednesday, May 25, 2011.
As you may know, Chicago Turkish Festival is being organized by a group of volunteers with the support the Consul General of Turkey in Chicago. The funding for the festival is made possible by a local nonprofit organization namely Turkish American Cultural Alliance.
Since the above mentioned fees have been waived by you for past seven years, we hope that you would diligently consider our request once again this year.
Please feel free to contact me at 312-933-4635 should you have any questions, concerns or need further information.
Sincerely,
Hatice Dine
