To the President and Members of the City Council:
Your Committee on License and Consumer Protection, having under consideration four orders introduced by Aldermen Reboyras and Schulter (which were referred on April 13, 2011), to waive fees for various special events, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body pass the orders which are transmitted herewith.
This recommendation was concurred in by a viva voce vote of the members of the committee.on April 27, 2011.

CITY COUNCIL MEETING 4/13/2011
ORDERED, that the Directors of the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection, Department of Revenue, and Commissioners of the Department of Transportation and the Department of Construction and Permits of the City of Chicago, are hereby authorized and directed to waive the sidewalk sale, itinerant merchant, food vendor, and tent permit fees for all the participants in the Lincoln Square Chamber, Sidewalk Sales to be held June 16, July 21, and August 18, 2011 on Lincoln and Western Avenues from Lawrence to Sunnyside.
