Your Committee on License and Consumer Protection, having under consideration four orders introduced by Aldermen Reboyras and Schulter (which were referred on April 13, 2011), to waive fees for various speciaLevents, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body p a s s the orders which are transmitted herewith.

This recommendation was concurred in by a viva voce vote of the members of the committee on April 27, 2011.

CITY COUNCIL MEETING 4/13/2011

ORDERED, that the Directors of the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer

Protection, Department of Revenue, and Commissioners of the Department of Transportation

and the Department of Construction and Permits of the City of Chicago, are hereby

authorized and directed to waive the sidewalk sale, itinerant merchant, food vendor,

street closing, and tent permit fees for all the participants in the Lincoln Square

Chamber, Craft Beer and Foof Pairing Event to be held July 16 and 17, 2011 on

Giddings Plaza at N. Lincoln at Giddings.

This event is sponsored by: Lincoln Square Chamber

This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
