ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. The Chicago Christian Industrial League ("COL") is authorized to assign to A Safe Haven its rights and obligations under a contract with the City of Chicago for landscaping and landscape maintenance services, entered into pursuant to an authorizing ordinance passed by the City Council in 1999.

SECTION 2. This authorization is not intended to, nor shall in any way be construed to, assist CCIL in avoiding or diminishing any legal obligation they may have.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect upon passage and approval.
