ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the areas described in Sections 2 and 3 of this ordinance are adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the areas.
SECTION 2. Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language as new subsections 4-60-022(50.1) through 4-60-022(50.201), as follows:
4-60-022 Restrictions On Additional Licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional license shall be issued for the sale of alcoholic liquor, for consumption on the premises within the following areas:

(50.1) On Kedzie Avenue, from Lincoln Avenue to Granville Avenue.
(50.2) On Kedzie Avenue, from Granville Avenue to Devon Avenue.
(50.3) On the east side of Kedzie Avenue, from Devon Avenue to Albion Avenue.
(50.4) On the east side of Kedzie Avenue, from Albion Avenue to Touhy Avenue.
(50.5) On the east side of Kedzie Avenue, from Touhy Avenue to Jarvis Avenue.
(50.6) On the east side of Kedzie Avenue, from Jarvis Avenue to Birchwood Avenue.
(50.7) On the east side of Kedzie Avenue, from Birchwood Avenue to Howard Street.
(50.8) On California Avenue, from Peterson Avenue to Granville Avenue.
(50.9) On California Avenue, from Granville Avenue to Devon Avenue.
(50.10) On California Avenue, from Devon Avenue to Albion Avenue.
(50.11) On California Avenue, from Albion Avenue to Pratt Avenue.
(50.12) On California Avenue, from Pratt Avenue to Lunt Avenue.
(50.13) On California Avenue, from Lunt Avenue to Estes Avenue.
(50.14) On California Avenue, from Estes Avenue to Touhy Avenue.
