SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Annual Appropriation Ordinance for the year 2011 of the City of Chicago (the "City") contains estimates of revenues receivable as grants from agencies of the state and federal governments and public and private agencies; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 8 of the Annual Appropriation Ordinance, the heads of various departments and agencies of the City have applied to agencies of the state and federal governments and public and private agencies for grants to the City for various purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City through its Department of General Services ("General Services") has been awarded state grant funds in the amount of $81,000 by the Illinois Clean Energy Foundation (the "Foundation") which shall be used for the Geothermal Installations project; and
WHEREAS, the City through General Services has been awarded state grant funds in the amount of $42,000 by the Foundation which shall be used for the Solar Photovoltaic Installations project; and
WHEREAS, the City through its Department of Public Health ("Health") has been awarded additional federal grant funds in the amount of $13,000 by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ("CDC") which shall'be used for the Adult Viral Hepatitis Prevention Coordinator Program; and
WHEREAS, the City through Health has been awarded additional federal grant funds in the amount of $61,000 by the Illinois Department of Public Health ("IDPH") which shall be used for the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program; and
WHEREAS, the City through Health has been awarded federal grant funds in the amount of $240,000 by the Task Force For Global Health, Inc. which shall be used for the Inventory management and Tracking System Program; and
WHEREAS, the City through Health has been awarded additional state grant funds in the amount of $13,000 by IDPH which shall be used for the Summer Food Program; and
