BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1.
That an ordinance heretofore passed by the City Council
limiting the parking of vehicles, during specific hours on portions of designated streets, be and the same is hereby amended by striking therefrom, the following:
"North Cicero Avenue at No. 6141 - Monday thru Friday -
7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. 1
ONE HOUR PARKING."
Inserting in lieu thereof
"North Cicero Avenue
at No. 6141, Monday thru Friday -
7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. - 15 minute parking -
unattended vehicles must have flashing lights

The Alzheimer's Family Care Center provides daytime care for people impaired with Alzheimer's Disease and other progressive dementias. Many of the people we serve are frail older adults who have difficulty walking long distances and in some cases use assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walker and canes. When parking is not available outside of our building it is very difficult for families to safely bring their loved one into the Center and can create unnecessary confusion for our clients.
