RESOLUTION HONORING BANKER GERTRUDE E. MULDREW ON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, On May 31, 2011, Gertrude E. Muldrew, retired from a long and successful career as a banker with U.S. Bank; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this special occasion by the Honorable JoAnn Thompson, Alderman of the 16th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Gertrude E. Muldrew's career spanned some 32 years guiding and watching Chicago's great Englewood community grow into the solid, financially sound neighborhood it is today, and her scope extends way beyond that; and
WHEREAS, Her dynamic personality, her vision and her positive outlook have informed the many successes in Gertrude E. Muldrew's distinguished career. May she now, in retirement, spend quality time with her loving family and many friends; and
WHEREAS, May Gertrude's strong dedication to the citizens of the City of Chicago and the Englewood community serve as an inspiration to us all; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled here this 8th day of June, 2011 A.D., do hereby express our heartiest congratulations to Banker Gertrude E. Muldrew on her retirement, and extend to this fine citizen our very best wishes for continuing success and fulfillment; and
Be It Further Resolved that a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Gertrude E. Muldrew.
