REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE ON ZONING, LANDMARKS, AND
BUILDING STANDARDS
Reporting for your Committee on Zoning, Landmarks, and Building Standards which a meeting was held on October 18, 2011,1 beg leave to recommend that YOUR HONORABLE BODY PASS various Ordinances transmitted herewith for the purpose of reclassifying the particular areas.
I beg leave to recommend the Passage of MA-131 regarding the appointment of Mr. John R. Bryant as a member of the Chicago Plan Commission for a term effective immediately and expiring January 25, 2013.
I beg leave to recommend the approval of Two Text Amendments , TAD-472 regarding language pertaining to wireless communications facilities and associated equipment and TAD-467 regarding regulations on elevator penthouses in residential districts.
I beg leave to recommend the PASSAGE of 3 Ordinances which were corrected and amended in their amended form. They are application numbers 16821,17333 and 17295.
I beg leave to accept applications for 13 signs, which are subject to zoning review and over 100 square feet, and 24 feet above grade. They are application numbers 02011-8515, 02011-8403, -Or2011-948, Or2011-949, Or2011-8733, Or2011943, Or2011-956, Or2011-955, Or2011-959, Or2011-958,02011-7138,02011-8730, and 02011-8731.
Please also note that application number 17295 is a Type 1 application, and all renderings, plans, and drawings must be published.
I beg leave to recommend the waiver of building permit fees for property located at 11415 S. Forestville Ave ,( Doc# Or2011-993,) and a fee for property located at 550-559 W. Surf Street,( Doc# Or2011-992.
