REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE ON ZONING, LANDMARKS, AND
BUILDING STANDARDS
Reporting for your Committee on Zoning, Landmarks, and Building Standards which a meeting was held on November 15, 2011, I beg leave to recommend that YOUR HONORABLE BODY approve the Mayoral appointment of Olga Camargo as a member of the Chicago Plan Commission for a term effective immediately and expiring January 25, 2014.
I beg leave to recommend the Passage of Text Amendment #TAD-475 which was amended and corrected in its amended form regarding the reclassification of use standards for Amusement Arcades.
I also beg leave to recommend the Passage of various Ordinances transmitted herewith for the purpose of reclassifying the particular areas. 6 Ordinances were amended and corrected in their amended form. They are application numbers 17350, A-7760, A-7740, 17304, 17186, and 17034.
I beg leave to accept applications for 8 signs, which are subject to zoning review and over 100 square feet, and 24 feet above grade. They are application numbers Or2011 35,38, 51,46,31,66, 34, and 8816.
I beg leave to recommend the waiver of building permit fees for property located at 919 N. Dearborn St. doc#Or2011-1048), 2258 W. Iowa St(Doc #Or2011-1049). and 3207 S. Calumet Avenue(Doc#Or2011-1064)
Please let the record reflect that application number A-7758 was withdrawn by Alderman Pat O'Connor.
At this time, I move for PASSAGE of this report by the last most favorable roll call vote of the Committee on Finance with the same motion to reconsider.
