BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. Section 9-64-090 ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by adding the language underscored, as follows:
9 64-090 Residential parking permit.

When official signs are erected indicating resident permit parking only, parking shall be restricted to service and delivery vehicles, and home health care provider vehicles whose operators are doing business with residents of the residential parking permit zone and to vehicles displaying resident or visitor parking permits or other permits issued pursuant to Section 9-68-020 or Section 9-68-022(d) herein. In addition, a vehicle not in these categories may park legally for up to 15 minutes in a 24 hour period in a residential parking permit zone if its hazard indicator lights are flashing.
It shall be unlawful to park any unauthorized vehicle in violation of signs erected or maintained pursuant to this section or any other ordinance or city council order which establishes and defines a residential parking permit zone for which permits are issued pursuant to Section 9-68-020 or other ordinance.
SECTION 2. Chapter 9-68 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by adding the language underscored and by deleting the language stricken through, as follows:

9-68-022 Wrigley Field area parking permits - Zone 383.
The purpose of this section is to effectively regulate parking in the area immediately surrounding Wrigley Field in light ofthe special nature ofthe parking problems caused by night games at Wrigley Field.
Those portions of Residential Permit Parking Zone 383 that are within the following bounded area: the area bounded by and including both sides of Ashland Avenue on the west; Irving Park Road on the north, Broadway on the east, and Belmont Avenue on the southi shall for purposes of this section be known as the "Zone 383 night game tow area."
