ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. The ordinance adopted by the City Council of the City of Chicago for "Omar E. Torres Way" on January 17, 2013 and published on page 45618 of the Journal of Proceedings of the City Council of the City of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the language underscored as follows:

Pursuant to an ordinance heretofore passed by the City Council, which allows erection of honorary street name signs, the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation shall take the necessary action for standardization of the 4600— 4700 block of South Keeler Avenue as "Private First Class Omar E. Torres Way."

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.
