RESOLUTION
 
 
WHEREAS, Philip J. Disparte, Jr., has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of sixty-nine; and
 
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Edward M. Burke; and
 
WHEREAS, A resident of Elgin, Philip J. Disparte, Jr., was the loving husband of Cathie; and
 
WHEREAS, Philip J. Disparte, Jr., was the much-adored father of Nick, Michael, Ann Marie and Stephanie and the grandfather of eight to whom he imparted many of the fine and noble qualities that he possessed in abundance; and
 
WHEREAS, A native of Chicago, Philip J. Disparte, Jr., graduated from St. George Catholic High School and served his country for four years in the United States Air Force; and
 
WHEREAS, Philip J. Disparte, Jr., enjoyed a career as a sales representative, most recently for Schnidt Cartage, a trucking company in Hanover Park; and
 
WHEREAS, Philip J. Disparte, Jr., was ordained as a Roman Catholic Deacon in 1980; and
 
WHEREAS, From 1994 to 2002, Philip J. Disparte, Jr., was a Chaplain at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village and later served as a Chaplain at O'Hare International Airport; and
 
WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of Philip J. Disparte, Jr., serve as an example to all; and
 
WHEREAS, Philip J. Disparte, Jr., was an individual of great integrity and compassion for others who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives, friends and admirers; and
 
WHEREAS, To his beloved family, Philip J. Disparte, Jr., imparts a legacy of faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore
 
 
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council, assembled this tenth day of April, 2013, do hereby commemorate Philip J. Disparte, Jr., for his grace-filled life and do hereby express our condolences to his family; and
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Philip J. Disparte, Jr.
