BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO: Section 1:

 

The ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of Chicago for SOUTHWEST SIGNS INC on 12/12/2012, and printed upon page 44238 ofthe Journal of Proceedings ofthe City of Chicago is here by Amended by deleting the words

 

"two (2) sign(s)

 

One (1) at ten (10) feet in length, five (5) feet in height and twelve (12) feet above grade level.

The sum of six hundred ($600.00) per annum in advance." and inserting in their place the words "one (1) sign

The sum of three hundred ($300.00)" Section 2:

This ordinance Amendment shall be in effect upon its passage.

Re: An amended ordinance to use and maintain a portion of the public right-of-way for one (1) sign(s) for SOUTHWEST SIGNS INC, adjacent to the premises known as 5641 W. 63rd St

 

Dear Alderman Marty Quinn:

 

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for a sign(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Small Business Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
