TRAFFIC LANE - TOW ZONES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 64, of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the following locations are hereby designated as Traffic Lane - Tow Zones, between the limits and during the times specified, standing or parking of any vehicle shall be considered a definite hazard to the normal movement of traffic:
WARD TOW ZONES:
44 North Commonwealth Avenue; North Commonwealth Avenue (west side) from a point
225 feet south of West Surf Street to West Diversey Parkway; No Stopping, No Standing, No Parking Tow Zone All Times, All Days -- (15-05836903) [02015-7662]
North Commonwealth Avenue; North Commonwealth Avenue (west side) from a point 20 feet south of West Surf Street to a point 205 feet south thereof; No Parking Tow Zone, Except for Semi-Truck Staging Area, All Times, All Days -- (15-05836563) [02015-7663]
West Strong Street; West Strong Street (south side) from North Austin Avenue to North Marmora Avenue; No Parking Tow Zone, All Times, All Days -- (15-05732624) [02015-7282]
WARD AMEND TOW ZONES:
29 North Merrimac Avenue; North Merrimac Avenue from West Bloomingdale Avenue to
West Cortland Street; Repeal No Parking Tow Zone, 11:00pm to 7:00am, All Days, by Striking the above [02015-8447]
50 West Touhy Avenue; Amend Ordinance Passed 10/05/2011, journal page 8822, which
reads: West Touhy Avenue (north side) from a point 90 feet west of North Rockwell Street to a point 155 feet west thereof; No Parking Tow Zone, Except School Buses, 7:30am to 9:30am and 3:30pm to 5:30pm, Sunday through Friday, by Striking the above and inserting in lieu thereof: West Touhy Avenue (north side) from a point 90 feet west of North Rockwell Street to a point 155 feet west thereof; No Parking Tow Zone, 7:30am to 9:30am and 3:30pm to 5:30 pm, Sunday through Thursday, 12:00pm to 1:00pm, Friday - (15-05529356) [02015-7303]
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force here in after its passage and publication.

Your Committee on Pedestrian and Traffic Safety, to which were referred proposed ordinance(s) and/or order(s) to establish and/or amend Traffic Lane - Tow Zones on portions of sundry streets, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body DO PASS the proposed substitute ordinance(s) and/or order(s) submitted herewith.
