RESOLUTION
WHEREAS. Anthony G. Scariano has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 66; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Edward M. Burke; and
WHEREAS, Anthony G. Scariano was the much-adored father of Anthony Scariano III and the grandfather of Julianna Marie Scariano to whom he imparted many of the line and noble qualities that he possessed in abundance; and
WHEREAS, Anthony G. Scariano was the cherished brother of John K. Scariano; and
WHEREAS, Anthony G. Scariano will always be fondly remembered by his niece Leigh Christina Scariano. favorite "daughters" Samantha Musich, Jane Weatherred, and Ann-Marie Skinner, uncles John and Joe Scariano. aunt Marie Makowski, and by loving cousins, family members and friends; and
WHEREAS, Son of an Illinois Appellate Court judge and state legislator, Anthony G. Scariano first practiced law with his father before pioneering the field of educational law; and
WHEREAS, Held in the highest esteem by his peers. Anthony G. Scariano offered his grateful clients expert advice and representation: and
WHEREAS, Anthony G. Scariano was a mentor to many with whom he shared his wisdom and vast knowledge of the law and his passion for gardening, literature and art; and
WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of Anthony G. Scariano serve as an example to all; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Anthony G. Scariano to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget: and
WHEREAS, To his beloved family, Anthony G. Scariano imparts a legacy of faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members ofthe Chicago City Council, assembled this seventeenth day of January, 2013, do hereby commemorate Anthony G. Scariano for his grace-filled life and do hereby express our condolences to his family; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of Anthony G. Scariano.
