Apostle R.D. Henton
We the members of the 18th Ward, want the family to know that our hearts are
full as we gather together to say farewell to a man of GOD,
(Apostle R. D. Henton). We have great respect for (Apostle Henton) and his
family, as they are very active participants in the community and followers of
Christ.
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, "Father, 'into thy hands I commend my spirit; and having said that, he gave up the ghost. Luke 23:46.
Whereas; the passing of R. D. Henton, a great pastor and community leader, has caused a deep void and sadness in the hearts of the community.'
Whereas; Apostle Henton demonstrated a great faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to his church and family.'
Whereas; Apostle Henton served God well and faithfully/
"Therefore let it be known, that we know the deep loss and sorrow your family
is experiencing. We want to share in your sorrow but recognize that the Lord
has accepted into his presence a good and faithful servant."
We resolve that a copy of this resolution be given to the family and copies be placed with the church records.
