RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God In His infinite wisdom has called Steven E. Smith to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Steven E. Smith passed into eternal rest on March 11, 2020. Steven was the Beloved Husband of Sheri-Lynn nee Wessely; Loving Father of Joy Theresa and Antoinette Rose; Dear Brother of Richard, Thomas, Robert and Terri; and Uncle of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and

WHEREAS; Steven E. Smith leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and Jove ; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-second day of April, 2020, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Steven E. Smith and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
